OUR RESERVATION POLICY
A 50% deposit of the total Villa cost is required to secure your reservation. Once the booking has been processed, you will receive a Reservation Confirmation email that outlines a summary of your booking. Please review the information carefully and contact us immediately at info@margayvilla.com if you have any questions.
Payments can be made with all major credit cards by phone through our Agent Macro Assessoria as well as via Bank Transfer, bank details can be provided upon on request.
The remaining balance is requested to be paid 4 weeks prior to your arrival, payments can be made with PayPal and credit cards (Visa, Master Card and American Express) as well as via Bank Transfer, bank detail can be provided upon on request.
A US$2,000 damage deposit is required 7 days prior to arrival date via Bank Transfer, Bank details will be send to you by our Agent Macro Assessoria. A 100% refund will be made within 7 working days from the check out date, providing no damage has been caused to the property and it's belongings. More information about property damages can be found in the property hire contract.
OUR CANCELLATION POLICY
Securing a reservation with your deposit means you accept the terms and conditions of our Cancellation Policy.
Cancellation of your reservation will forfeit 100% of the deposit/amount paid, except your damage deposit, which will be refunded in full.
Requests for changes to your reservation must be made in writing to info@margayvilla.com and confirmed as received to acknowledge and resolve your request; Margay Villa will endeavour to accommodate your request subject to availability.
We do not issue refunds or credits for flight cancellations, due to any circumstances. Please consider taking out Travel Insurance to protect against flight cancellations as well as against any type of unforeseen events as Margay Villa is not liable for such circumstances.
ACTIVITIES, SERVICES & EXCURSIONS TERMS & CONDITIONS
(Scuba diving, Kite surfing, Quad-bike and Buggy rides, Yoga classes, massage, manicure-pedicure, babysitting, cook, driver, photographer, musicians, capoeira dance show and excursion to Natal)
Margay Villa can arrange local activities services with the third-party provider, such services be subject to their own terms & conditions. Margay Villa is not liable for any cancellations or changes to third-party service providers.
Local activities services booked directly with Margay Villa in advance of arrival are subject to the following cancellation policy; 24 hour’s notice is required to allow us to reschedule your appointment, subject to space availability.
No shows will be charged at full rate.
Payment for third-party activities services will need to be paid by Bank Transfer prior to arrival, bank details will be provided by our Agent Macro Assesssoria.
Any form of gratitude is to be given directly to third party provider.
LIABILITY
Margay Villa is not responsible for any losses of private properties.
Kids must be supervised by their parents or a responsible adult at all times when using the swimming pool, Margay Villa is not liable in the event of any type of accidents in the pool, garden, inside/outside the living space of Margay Villa.
HOLIDAY PERIOD ADDITIONAL TERMS& CONDITIONS
Holiday Periods are defined as:
December 24th 2017 - Jan 2nd 2018 - Christmas/New Year
March 30th – April 1st 2018 - Easter
February 9th – 12th 2018 – Brazilian Carnaval
We require a eight-night minimum booking for holiday reservations during the Christmas and New Years holiday period, a three-night minimum booking during the Easter and four-nights minimum during Brazilian Carnaval holiday periods.
50% payment is required on booking for these dates, with the remaining 50% payment 4 weeks prior to arrival, please note a special rate is applied during the holiday period.
Accessibility, Extra Person, Children, and Pet Policies
Margay Villa is an accessible property for guests with disabilities or limited mobility.
Margay Villa has 3 dogs living permanently in the Villa, they provide a great fullfiling interaction for kids and adults alike, however we do respect the wishes of guests requesting the removal of the dogs, any other pets are not permitted in Margay Villa.
Margay Villa capacity is of 12 adults and 3 kids between the age of 0-12 years old, a list with names and date of birth of all the guests staying at the property during the rental period will be required prior to arrival date, our Agent Macro Assessoria will liaise with you via email.
